Design Process
When ordering one of our plans:
When ordering one of our plans you only need to provide Sierra Pacific Home Designs your name, address and a parcel map of your property. We do the rest! We will provide you plans ready to submit to your local Building Department. The only thing you need will be roof truss calculations from a local truss manufacturer.
Per the California State Business Code of Professionals, a separate agreement will be provided to you explaining what the services of the Engineer for your Structural Design Calculations includes. You will need to approve and sign this agreement.
When ordering one of our plans with modifications:
Sometimes our plans are everything you are looking for except for a few changes. No problem! We will work with you to modify any of our existing plans to fine tune the home of your dreams! We will then provide you with plans ready to submit to your local Building Department. The only thing you need will be roof truss calculations from a local truss manufacturer. With this process, additional fees may be necessary depending on the amount of changes. We will work with you to keep these additional fees low.
Custom new home design:
Sierra Pacific Home Designs can also start from scratch with you to create the custom home of your dreams! We have specialized in specific custom home design for the past fifteen years with homes ranging in size from 3,000 square feet to over 12,000 square feet.
